Pleasure to contribute as a model, a blogger in this premier fashion event created by PARK, a non-profit organization, PARK essentially stands for Promoting Artists and Redefining Kulture. This year's PARKLUX was held at Hyatt Mercedes Benz Auto Gallery. Featuring four outstanding Canaidan designers who share the more high-end market, a conceptual show is executed beautifully. First half of the show featured designer Caitlin Power, Anne. B accessories and Nicole Campre.

Originally based in Calgary, Caitlin Power has moved her design studio to Toronto in recent years. Gaining notable recognition from various fashion magazines, Caitlin Power opened the show with her signature designs; detail tailoring, classic silhouettes and bold lines. This season's collection has been filled with weightless sheer tops and strong bold lines to accentuate the curviness of women. It could well be the answer of Caitlin Power's definition of aesthetic and femininism.
From using materials such as wood, coral, shell, cow-horn and resin, Anne offers wild selection of handcraft jewelry and accessories from sharp and bold, to simplistic. Anne. B is the new definition of being bold and statment making.
Titled as Western Canada's Emerging designer at the age of 22, Edmonton designer Nicole Campre is well known for her feminine and minimalist style. Her pieces is so minimalist yet, complex with her using of various texture and incredible focus in details. Nicole Campre's label is newly established this year (2012), She would definitly be the designer we should keep our eyes on.
