Gar&Mann:L was invited to the Launching Party of freq.'s RETROSPECT March Issue. Sunday afternoon Winebar was packed with excited crowds whom couldn't wait any longer for the latest PARK x freq. collaboration on the launching of RETROSPECT on March 2013 freq. Hosted by fashion editor of freq., Kim Noseworthy, president of PARK, Kara Chomistek and the collaboration's creative director Ania Boniecka which without them none of this would happen. They truly deserve the gratitude coming from the Calgary fashion community, for what they have done and contributed, which should not be taken for granted. As which Gar&Mann:L would definitely love to see more fashion coverage in freq.
March issue of freq. Magazine collaborated with Kara Chomistek & Maeghan Archibald from PARK, featured a collection of spring looks celebrating The Swinging 60s with the color and patterns of S/S 2013. A retrospect twist with a modern day spin. freq. x PARK brings us back to that swinging era, which reminded re-educates the time during exploding 60s. Psychedelic Bebe dress gets reinvented with Jil Sander shoes. Mod glasses by Karen Walker with Marni jacket. Totally nail it. Spaghetti strapped bra top with baby doll pink adds in a dollop of retro fun. The swinging 60s was the time of fashion explosion, traditions violations. It is bold. It is dramatic. Gar&Mann:L love 60s.
