CUCKOO'S NEST [杜鵑窩]is a Hong Kong local fashion label created by Spider Lau [Lau Hoi Ting] and Lau Hoi Ying. Inspired by the film "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest", founded in 2011, the local fashion brand focuses on vintage-indy non mainstream style suits, shirts, skirts and dresses. "We hope people who are interested in our brand can find something lovely here, dress by each's true nature & follow their heart and instinct." - Spider Lau. The collection explores the concept of contradiction off the fine line between insanity and sanity. "That ain't me, that ain't my face. It wasn't even me when I was trying to be that face. Using asymmetrical lines, strong geometric cuts with variant fabrics, always playful on the study of positive & negative, Lau explores the assertion of the contrary through her collections.
