Yohji Yamamoto Fall/Winter 2014
"People kept telling me I do too much black," - Yohji Yamamoto. Yohji Yamamoto Fall/Winter 2014 would definitely make a lot say otherwise. Using of motifs is quite the key to make this collection extraordinarily playful. Snakes and skulls are printed all over suits and riders jackets. Skulls are depicted to be intertwined with chains and flowers that really give the collection a Japanese sumarai taste. Beside the skulls and snakes parts of the collection, the other half are built on top of the traditional Japanese Daimyo [大名] style with camouflage and floral design. Zipper also plays an important role in the collection, the using of zipper instead of buttons for suits jacket is magnificent. 花と蛇と骸骨 [Flower. Snake. Skull.] Masterfully creative and brilliant, Gar&Mann:L love Yohji Yamamoto Fall/Winter 2014.
