Triumph celebrates the label's 100th anniversary with iconic Amourette & "Stand Up for Fit" Campaign. Gar&Mann:L and Vinegar Designs Lab are invited to participate and celebrate this special moment with Triumph. In celebration of the bra’s 100th anniversary, Triumph releases a new addition to its iconic Amourette collection. Amourette Spotlight is the modern version of the classic line featuring an exquisite graphical floral lace design accompanied by the familiar comfortable cut that accentuates feminine curves, while providing amazing support and comfort all day long.
Triumph continues its tradition of listening to women around the world to create iconic lingerie. A recent survey uncovered a global trend when it comes to issues and frustrations around finding the perfect fit. The survey revealed that fit is crucial not only for completing the ideal fashion look, but also improves overall confidence. Triumph discovered 76% of the world’s women are still wearing the wrong size bra.

Triumph also discovered that 30% of women, globally, have never experienced a proper bra fitting. Of the women surveyed, 73% agreed that poorly fitting lingerie affected their confidence, and negatively impacted their working day; and in some cases their performance.

Lego Chocolate Blocks by Akihiro Mizuuchi

Japanese illustrator and designer Akihiro Mizuuchi created edible and functional chocolate LEGO blocks. Mizuuchi is a member of the Gunchoco Club, a group dedicated to creating chocolate Gungam figurines. The idea came from the Gunchoco Club tradition, using chocolate Gundam figures as a Valetines gift for the love ones. First, Mizuuchi had to design the characters using computer to analyse how many modules was needed. After the silicon molds has been created, the chocolate LEGO blocks are been assembled together. There are total of four flavours to choose from;dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. But I have to say, there is a fatal flaw in the design; no blocks will be left in the hands of all you chocolate lovers out there. 
"I discovered that 1 lego dot was equivalent to about 1 gram of chocolate so the calculations were really 55 dots, or about 55 grams. The mold on the right is 80 dots, or about 80 grams. So if you weight the choclate before melting if you're left with hardly any residue." - Akihiro Mizuuchi

Recap: Tabestoon Fest 2014

Tabestoon Fest 2014 that took place last month at the Calgary Olympic Plaza gave us a whole new experience of contemporary Iranian art and music. It was truly an inspiring experience to foster inter-cultural exchange for the next generation. Tabestoon Fest featured live stage performances by London-based alternative rock band, Ali Azimi, Iranian fusion band, Ajam and numerous live performances by local and independent musicians and dancers. Children were able to explore calligraphy and Iranian handicrafts. Art exhibtions by contemporary Iranian artists and a photo exhibit by German photographer Benedikt Fuhrmann was showcased. Special thanks Katrina Olson Mottahed, event advsier of Tabestoon Fest for the invitation and photos.

攻殻機動隊 Ghost in the Shell Ohara 25th Anniversary Art Exhibition


Beginning today August 8th until August 20th 2014, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ghost In the Shell [攻殻機動隊] created by Shirow Masamune an art exhibition will be held.
