From August 22nd to September 7th, 2014, the 4th annual Shinjuku Creators Festa will be held. Started out as a art student's project back in 2011, number of visitors and participating artists has grown in huge success. World renown names, such as Yayoi Kusama and CG-artist Yoichiro Kawaguchi will be displaying works along with student submissions. Students will utilize public spae of Kabukicho and Shinjuku Stattion East exit and Nishiguchi a private facility. To get visitor actively involve with the Festa, live mural-painting event and art workshops will be held by local professional artists. By locating the art pieces at various corners of Shinjuku, it also encourages visitors to explore and discover parts of the area.
