The second annual event took place at the newly opened Century Downs Racetrack and Casino north of Calgary this year. A total of more than 1200 of Calgary's bon vivants attended this year's Packwood Grand. Guests gathered at Craft Beer Market was then transported by bus to location at the Century Downs Racetrack. Despite the beautiful sun and clear sky, it was quite windy during periods of the day. Many of the ladies had a few incidents, including myself. The gentlemen definitely wins my eye over the best dressed this year, as you can tell the time and effort they had for each detail. The second year of Packwood Grand turned out to be a great success, though I did not have much lucky during the six horse races. Fancy Hats and horse race, a taste of luxury. I am already excited for next year to come.
