"Memory of Commemorative Photos" Chika Kisada 2017-18 Fall RTW Collection

Chika Kisada showcased her 2017-18 Fall RTW collection during Tokyo Fashion week last Saturday March 25th, 2017. Coming from a background as a classical ballerina, the theme, "Memory of commemorative photos" was inspired by her early days as a ballet dancer. Pink, Black and white was the main color palette, Kisada explores the fine line between the balance of strength and beauty. Tulle, a typical material used in ballet costume was mixed in with hoodies and puff sleeve shirts as a twist to modern femininity.
